A policeman killed and six others injured in a clash with gunmen in southeastern Iran

TEHRAN - Internal Security Force Commander in the Kerman province, Brigadier-General Reza Bani Asadi Farr announced that an element was killed and six other members of the Internal Security Forces were injured in clashes with an armed gang in the southern city of Bam.

Asad Far said that the commando unit of the Imam Riza (AS) clashed early Thursday with an armed gang, which resulted in the killing of a non-commissioned officer and wounding six of his comrades in the internal security forces.

During the operation, the unit managed to seize 226 kg of antidote, 42 kg of heroin, 89 kg of hashish and a 4WD car.
