Sulaymaniyah - A senior delegation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), led by First Deputy Secretary-General of the PUK, Kusrat Rasool, is scheduled to visit Tehran on Monday at an official invitation.
According to local media: "The delegation includes the official of the working body in the Political Bureau of the PUK, Mullah Bakhtiar, a member of the Political Bureau, Mahmoud Senkawi, and a number of officials of the PUK," noting that "the visit will include discussing bilateral relations and political conditions in the region, the process of holding the referendum in the Kurdistan region.
The announcement of the visit comes two days after the return of the Secretary-General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Jalal Talabani, from Tehran, on a visit lasted several days.
It is noteworthy that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, announced last Thursday, the formation of a committee to visit the regional countries to discuss the referendum and economic conditions and cut off the water of Zab river and projects that were to be implemented in Halabja.
