Agriculture Minister Discusses With The Sudanese Ambassador Agricultural Reality In Iraq

BAGHDAD / Agriculture Minister Falah Hassan Zeidan, at the ministry's headquarters, discussed with Sudanese Ambassador Mohamed Omar Moussa prospects of joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

A statement by the Ministry of Agriculture said, "The meeting also saw discussion of the agricultural situation in Iraq and the mechanism of activating the Agricultural Joint Commission between the two countries.

The statement quoted the minister as saying that Sudan is one of the largest agricultural Arab countries in terms of the nature of the land and water and manpower and the number of animals.

The statement added , "a committee was formed to find a mechanism within the legal framework to find a formula to resolve the subject of the import of animal products from Sudan, according to the World Health Organization to preserve the health of citizens.

For his part, the Sudanese ambassador expressed that his country has experiences and competent staff in the field of anti-Zahra of Nile and eliminate it altogether .
