Baghdad Al-Fateh Alliance decided to organize a solidarity stand with the patient Palestinian people this afternoon, Saturday.
A statement by the Alliance stated: We were supposed to have a stand of solidarity with the patient and Mujahidin Palestinian people on Sunday 5/16/2021, and for the sake of the unity of the Iraqi people’s position of solidarity with the Palestinian people, we decided that the stand would be united in Tahrir Square and in all governorates at four o’clock in the afternoon, Saturday, coinciding with the call of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.
The alliance called on all the Iraqi people to participate seriously in this stand of solidarity, stressing that the participants should not raise any flag other than Iraq and Palestine .
For its part, the Iraqi Islamic Party called on its supporters to actively participate in the stand of solidarity with the Palestinian people in Tahrir Square in support of Gaza and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
