Najaf The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, criticized government performance and rampant corruption in the country.

Al-Sadr said in his tweet, “The first rule of true reform is that you do not drive corruption with corruption like it.”

He added, “Corruption cannot be a prelude to righteousness and reform at all. Rather, everything whose premise is corrupt, its result will inevitably be corrupt even after a while. Therefore, reform should not be according to desires and whims, nor to achieve worldly goals that are not acceptable to God Almighty
