Allawi: The Public Mood Has Changed Towards The Civil State

BAGHDAD - The head of the National Coalition (Watania), Iyad Allawi said that the mood of the masses is no longer tolerated more sectarian political, warning of attempts to embellish some of the blocs that adopted political sectarianism with the approaching of the elections.

Allawi said in a statement, "The social map has changed significantly from the past and the demonstrations calling for reform and improve services and elimination of corruption have moved to include many cities and provinces."

He stressed that "the mood of the masses today is no longer tolerated more political sectarianism and politicizing religion, adding that the orientation towards the civil state and the establishment of the state of citizenship and stand against sectarianism has become a clear popular demand, which we have called for decades and work for it.
