Najaf Police forces arrested a drug dealer in Najaf and seized an amount of narcotic substances in his possession.
The police directorate in Najaf said in a statement: “The drug dealer was arrested in a raid operation in a neighborhood north of Najaf, based on information and careful follow-up.”
The statement added, “The dealer fired at the raiding force, wounding an officer, who was taken to hospital.”
It continued, “The police cordoned off the place completely, and the drug dealer was arrested and seized in his possession an amount of narcotic substances, and he was referred to the judiciary.”
