Barzani discusses with Croatian Ambassador the war on Daesh gangs and the battles to liberate Mosul

BAGHDAD / / President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani discussed with the Croatian Ambassador Ivan Juric the field conditions in the fronts of confrontation with Daesh terrorist gangs and the battles to liberate the city of Mosul and the victories of the Peshmerga and the Iraqi army forces.

The Croatian Ambassador confirmed , during the meeting, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region, his country's commitment to support the Peshmerga and the forces of Kurdistan Region, expressing the readiness of Croatia to participate in the development of relations in the economic sphere, tourism and other sectors, adding to the bravery of the Peshmerga in the war against Daesh and victories against this organization terrorists.

For his part, Barzani expressed his respect and appreciation for the struggle of the Croatian people for freedom and independence, and thanked the people and government of Croatia for their support of the Peshmerga forces, stressing the readiness of the region to strengthen and expand relations with Croatia in various fields.
