Baghdad / The Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in the parliament of Kurdistan welcomed the attempts to activate the parliament and solve the legal and political problems in the region.
"The political forces need more than ever to unite, to leave problems and differences aside and to organize themselves within the framework of national strategy and to prefer partisan and political interests," the bloc said in a statement.
"The Democratic Party welcomes the attempts to start activating the parliament of Kurdistan and solving the legal and political problems, hoping to solve all problems within the framework of political consensus in dialogue and understanding."
The statement stressed the "need to start the work of the Parliament of Kurdistan as soon as possible and support the referendum, and the lives of citizens, services, salaries of employees and resolve the fate of Kurdish areas be outside the administration of the region from the first program of work."
