Car Bomb Goes Off In Mosul, Kills And Wounds Dozens

Mosul / NIAN / Dozens of civilians were killed and wounded when a car bomb detonated by Daesh targeted civilians near Allah Akbar mosque (God is greatest) in Akka area eastern Mosul, according to a security source.

The source told the National Iraqi News Agency / that 13 civilians, including women and children, were killed and 22 wounded, most of whom were seriously injured when a car bomb, driven by a suicide bomber, went off east of Mosul targeted civilians.

He added that Iraqi forces cordoned off the area fully fearing of being targeted again.
