The correspondent of NINA News Agency stated that dozens of fighters of the Imams of Al-Baqi Brigade (the mobilization of the Ministry of Defense) took to the streets in a peaceful demonstration near Al-Muqdadiya district and blocked the Baquba-Khanaqin road, northeast of Baqubah, in protest against the lack of payment of their financial dues for years.
The correspondent added that the protesters threatened to organize an open sit-in in the event that their legitimate demands were not met.
