Four PKK members killed in southeastern Turkey

BAGHDAD - Four members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) were killed in a military operation by Turkish security forces in Turkey's southeastern city of Hakkari.

"The Interior Ministry said in a statement that the Operation was carried out in a rural area in the village of Ogul in the city, killing four members of the Workers' Party, including a person responsible for two blasts targeting Turkish forces earlier.

Meanwhile, a Turkish security guard was killed and another one was wounded in clashes with PKK elements in the eastern city of Bingol.
