BAGHDAD / Head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, who arrived in the Iranian capital Tehran, will participate in the thirtieth International Conference of Islamic Unity, which will be held in the 15th until the 17th of December, with participation of dozens of high-profile figures from various Islamic countries in the world.
Iranian Tasnim New Agency quoted a source in Hakim’s Office as saying that “al-Hakim will hold, during this visit, bilateral talks with a number of Iranian officials and dignitaries participating in the unity of the Islamic Conference to discuss issues of common interest.”
It is mentioned that a political source confirmed to / NINA / that “The president of the National Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, went to Iran at the head of a large delegation from the National Alliance.
He added, “The visit aims to discuss the situation in the region with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran” .
