Iraq And Saudi Arabia Confirm Their Commitment To Reduce Oil Production Agreement

BAGHDAD - Iraq and Saudi Arabia have confirmed their full commitment to the agreement to cut oil production until markets reach balance planed of the agreement.

"The Deputy King Mohammed bin Salman received in Jeddah yesterday, Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi, and discussed with him the cooperation between the two countries in the field of coordination of oil policies."

The two sides also discussed the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Iraq, especially the joint opportunities in the economic fields in general and energy in particular, especially the opening of land ports and direct flights, encouraging trade exchange between the two countries and investments of the private sector in Iraq.

Bin Salman stressed the keenness of the Saudi government on the stability of Iraq and its intention to develop and strengthen relations in all fields, in the interest of the peoples of the two countries.

Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi arrived in Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening at the head of a delegation of officials from the Oil Ministry on an official visit.
