AMMAN, Jordan, - Jordan and Iraq on Tuesday urged increased cooperation to fight terrorism and radical ideologies.
Jordan's Lower House Speaker, Atef Tarwaneh, said that, there is a need to unify the Arabs' efforts, to address issues facing the Arab nations.
He made the remarks, at a meeting with his Iraqi counterpart, Salem Jabouri, during which, they said, Arabs need to have unified stances, on the various issues facing them.
"Our war against terrorism will not only be at the military level...The most important battle is the ideological battle everywhere," Tarawneh said.
Jordan is part of a US-led international coalition, to fight the so-called Daesh in Syria and Iraq.
The Iraqi lawmaker said, Jordan and Iraq face common challenges.
He also reviewed developments in Iraq, and the impact of terrorism on the country, voicing appreciation for Jordan's support.
