Jordanian Monarch King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed, in a phone call, today, Tuesday, the situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The two sides stressed, during the call, the necessity of reaching an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, as an immediate step that must be taken to protect the security of the region and prevent the expansion of the circle of conflict, reiterating their rejection of any attempts to displace Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The Jordanian monarch and the Egyptian president stressed the necessity of continuing to support the Palestinian brothers in obtaining their full legitimate rights, and establishing their independent state on the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Al-Quds as its capital.
