KRG Meets The Kurds’ MPs To Discuss The 2017 budget

KIRKUK / MP from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) said the Kurdistan Regional Government will hold a meeting tomorrow with the heads of Kurdish blocs to discuss the budget of 2017.

Shwan Dawoodi, the spokesman for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc said in a statement that the heads of Kurdish blocs and Kurds MPs in the financial, defense and oil committees will meet with the Presidency of the Kurdistan Regional Government on Wednesday.

He added that the meeting will discuss the general budget of the 2017 Act, explaining: it was necessary to hold the meeting before approving the budget bill by the House of Representatives, so the Kurdistan Regional Government, had been delayed in this meeting.

He noted that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc is ready for dialogue with all government and party parties to restore the employees' salaries and save them from the financial crisis they face. / End
