BAGHDAD / MP for the Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc, Jamal Kojar confirmed that the Kurds are not a reason to delay the vote on the budget.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency / "There are parties want to reduce the percentage of the provincial budget to 12 percent. This was announced by MP, Haitham al-Jubouri."
He added, "The province has demands, including increasing the proportion of the province to 21 percent after Halabja became a province."
He said "The observations and discussions are going and if we reach to the result we will vote may be tomorrow or after tomorrow."
The House of Representatives is scheduled to hold a meeting today for vote on the draft budget law 2017./
