Kuwait Frees Four Iraqi Fishermen

BAGHDAD � Interior Ministry announced that the Kuwaiti authorities had released four Iraqi fishermen.

"The Kuwaiti authorities, under direct supervision and detailed follow-up by Interior Minister Qassim al-Araji, released four Iraqi fishermen," Interior Minister Adviser Wahhab al-Tai said in a statement.

"Fourteen convicted Iraqis held in Kuwaiti prisons will be handed over to complete their sentences in Iraq so that their families can visit them," al-Tai said.
