Baghdad The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received today, Tuesday, a French delegation that included the Chair of the National and Military Defense Committee in the French Parliament, Francoise Dumas, members of Parliament Philip Meyer and Gwendel Royalard, the French Ambassador to Iraq, Bruno Hubert, and the French Consul General in Erbil, Olivier Dicotini.
The meeting discussed, according to a statement by the regional government, the latest developments in Iraq and the region, in addition to discussing further strengthening of relations between the Kurdistan region and France.
The meeting dealt with other axes, including relations between the Kurdistan region and the federal government, and the importance of coordination between the Peshmerga forces and the Iraqi army and the implementation of the Sinjar agreement, and the situation of refugees and displaced persons in the Kurdistan region was addressed and the need to provide anti-Coronavirus vaccines for them.
