MINISTER: IRAQ DRILLS OIL WELL NEAR IRAN’S BORDER

TEHRAN-- Iraq's Oil Minister Abbar al-Luaibi said on Monday that his country is to drill oil well near Iran's borders.

According to Middle East Monitor, the Iraqi minister said the new oil well is to be drilled in Heveizeh oil field in vicinity of Iran's borders having the total capacity of one billion oil barrels.

Iraq's state-owned oil and gas company Missan is to handle the project, Middle East Monitor said.
