Baghdad The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) confirmed the continuation of support for the Iraqi army in the areas of training and providing advice to departments and institutions in the Ministry of Defense.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated that the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, met in his office, Admiral Lieutenant General Robert Burke, Commander of NATO Forces in Naples and Assistant Secretary General of NATO John Manza, and Lieutenant General Michael Lollesgaard, Commander NATO mission in Iraq. ”

Yarallah praised everything that NATO provides to the Iraqi army through its mission in Iraq in the fields of training, advising and gaining experience.

For his part, the commander of the NATO forces in Naples affirmed the continuation of support for the Iraqi army in the fields of training and providing advice to departments and institutions in the Ministry of Defense, praising the fruitful cooperation and development of the mission’s work between the two sides.
