PMF Repels Attack For Daesh To Target Tal Afar Airport, West of Mosul

Mosul / The popular mobilization forces repelled intensive attacks by Daesh on Tal Afar Airport, west of Mosul, according to a security source.

The source told the National Iraqi News Agency / that "Daesh militants launched an extensive attack from several directions on Tall Afar Airport with three car bombs and a suicide bomber."

He added that "the popular mobilization forces repelled the attack and controlled the airport outlets during clashes with Daesh in western Mosul," noting that "Daesh is trying to intensify its attacks and targeting the PMF to cover its loss in retaking dozens of areas, which are located in the outskirts of Tal Afar and Tal Afar Airport, which are dominated by the popular mobilization forces. "
