Najaf - Representatives and heads of more than 50 Iranian companies in the fields of tourism, hotels, trade, agriculture and mines met with their counterparts in Najaf in a joint trade meeting to discuss activating ways of joint cooperation.
The head of the Najaf Chamber of Commerce, Zuhair Sharba told NINA that the meeting was to discuss means of joint cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, the head of the Iranian-Iraqi Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Yahya al-Ishaq said that "the Iranian delegation is composed of officials of the Iranian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, noting that the volume of trade exchange between Iran and Iraq reached 10 billion dollars in the first half of 2017, but we have many outstanding problems between the two sides, we have been able to find solutions to some of them and there are still outstanding problems. "
"We are ready to raise fees for visitors of the Islamic Republic if the Iraqi side is ready to reciprocate," he said.
