Russia announces the killing of /180 /terrorists, including two leaders in the Syrian town of Deir al-Zour

BAGHDAD - Russia announced on Saturday its air force operating in Syria had killed /180/ militants, including two leaders in the orgaization, in two raids near the city of Deir al-Zour.

"The Russian air force carried out pre-emptive strikes on June 6 and 8 on the sites of the Daesh militants, which resulted in the killing of 180 members of the organization, including two leaders, Abu Omar Al- Belgiki and Abu Yassin Al-Mesri," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"It added thta these strikes also resulted in the destruction of 16 vehicles and armored vehicles, 4 command centers, and a warehouse of military weapons and ammunition."

It is noteworthy that this statement comes after the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Friday that there is information indicating the killing of the leader of the organization, "Daesh" terrorist, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, in one of the raids of the Russian air force on the Syrian city Al-Raqqa.
