Saco-The proportion of Christians in Iraq has fallen to 2 percent

BAGHDAD / The proportion of Christians in Iraq has dropped to 2%, according to the head of the Chaldean community in Iraq and the world, Louis Sako.

"There are no accurate statistics on the number of Christians in Iraq, and in my estimation, the percentage of Christians in the country was 4%, and now 2%, while Christians in the region are now 20% and now 8%," Sako said in a statement.

He added that more than 100 Christian homes were seized in Baghdad by militias are not disciplined, and pointed out that the number of Christians in Baghdad is now 200 thousand Christians, while the number was a million.
