Sadr: Iran Must Leave Political And Sectarian Strife And Open Up To The Region’s Countriesc

Najaf - The leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr called on Iran to "move away from policies that negatively affect the region."

In a statement on the occasion of Rohani's victory in the post of president of Iran, al-Sadr also called on Iran to "open up to some countries in the region and leave the political and sectarian strife that not affect them only but the whole region."

Sadr described Iran as "having a strong impact on our region, and it must take its people to safety and avoid all policies that negatively affect the region, because the situation is unbearable."
