Secretary General Of Council of Ministers Discusses With British Ambassador The Stability In Liberated Areass

BAGHDAD / The secretary general of the Council of Ministers, Mahdi al-Allaq discussed with British Ambassador Frank Baker, the nature of stability operations and the mechanism of cooperation between the government agencies and the United Nations, which is the body that manages the donor funds to stability operations in the liberated areas.

During the meeting, which was attended by Marc Bresson, Director of strengthening the stability in the British Embassy, Allaq said in a statement to the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, "the national reconciliation is one of the biggest concerns of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi for the next phase, where the Iraqi government has adopted orientations to remove the causes of social disruption, whatever the background through providing job opportunities and improve the living situation of the liberated areas through the provision of basic services.

British side confirmed that it is ready to support the Iraqi government to face challenges, especially in the areas of promoting stability and reconciliation, security and training.
