BAGHDAD / Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Mahdi al-Allaq discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Faruk Kaymakci the investment in Iraq.
A statement by the General Secretariat said, "The meeting took place in a friendly surrounds praised the efforts of both parties to overcome the obstacles faced by the joint cooperation between the two countries."
The statement quoted Kaymakci as saying that "the end of his mission in Iraq refers to the continuation of an important and active chapter in the cooperation between the two countries and there is a lot of initial plans that he will hand them over to his successor to achieve successful investment in Iraq in order to serve the two parties commensurate with the economic policies in Iraq.".
For his part, Allaq said that he "will continue his interest and handling of the obstacles that surround the work of existing projects on the ground in Iraq and aspires to activate industrial investment in the next phase." .
