BAGHDAD-- Six people were killed and many more injured in a series of bomb attacks in Baghdad on Sunday, a source in the Iraqi police said.
The source told KUNA that two people were killed and seven more got injured when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detonated at Shola area in Northern Baghdad.
Moreover, another two Iraqis were killed and six more got injured when another IED exploded at Abu Ghraib area in Western Baghdad.
A booby-trapped car exploded at Obaidi area, eastern Baghdad, killing one person and injured six more, while another person was killed and eight injured in another explosion in Al-Ghadeer area.
The source said the attacks bear marks of so-called Islamic State (IS). However, no one claimed responsibility so far.
