Mosul - The anti-terrorism forces have taken control on Shaarin and Dika Baraka areas in the old city of Mosul.
A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that "the anti- terrorism forces have taken control on the alley and the market of the Shaarin and Dika Baraka amid fierce clashes."
The source added: "The clashes resulted in the deaths of 20 terrorists, including seven suicide bombers, and discovery of large quantities of weapons and ammunition."
He said: "The forces opened safe corridors and drove all the families who were stuck inside their homes, to safe areas."
