The Federal Police Kill 61 Terrorists In Old Mosul’s Areas

BAGHDAD - Major General Raed Shaker Jawdat, commander of the federal police forces announced the killing of 61 members of the Daesh and the destruction of their headquarters during the cleansing of areas in the old city of Mosul.

"Federal police forces continue to clean up the remaining areas of the Old City to eliminate the hidden terrorists in the tunnels and invest the victory achieved by the units of the leadership of the Federal Police Forces, with tanks, aircraft and artillery," Jawdat said in a statement.

"During the operation, the federal police forces killed 57 terrorists, 4 snipers, found 17 explosive belts, detonated a car bomb, found five launchers, 3 RPG, dismantle 3 booby-trapped houses, destroy a motorcycle, dismantle 31 explosive devices, find two hideouts for the enemy, and find different weapons. "
