Baghdad Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Hassan Nadhem, signed today, Thursday, in Riyadh, a memorandum of understanding with the Lebanese Minister of Tourism and Social Affairs Ramzi Musharrafieh to enhance the bonds of cooperation between the two countries.
A statement by the Ministry stated that the Lebanese Minister delivered a speech in which he explained the importance of signing this memorandum to promote the common interests between the two countries, encourage tourism and travel agencies to organize tourism and religious trips, facilitate entry features, and activate participation in scientific conferences, festivals, information exchange, experiences in the field of investment, and training Tourism and hotel accommodation, taking advantage of investment opportunities, and encouraging hospital tourism.
He thanked Hassan Nadhem for his initiative to strengthen cooperation ties between the two countries.
The signing of this memorandum comes on the sidelines of the forty-seventh meeting of the Middle East Committee for World Tourism Systems, which was held in Riyadh.
