The popular crowd repulsed an attack by Daesh and killed five suicide bombers at the Tel Safouk in western Mosul

Mosul / The Popular Mobilization forces have repulsed the second attack by Daesh during the past 24 hours at the Tel Safouk border crossing west of Mosul, according to a source in the popular crowd.

"The Popular crowd forces have managed to repel the second attack by Daesh in which the popular crowd forces killed five suicide bombers and blew up a machine gun to the organization through the Syrian-Iraqi border crossing in Tel Safouk, which was liberated by the crowd forces at the weekend," the source told NINA.

He added that "the popular crowd forces are deployed inside the village and the crossing to repel and kill the nests of the Daesh organization that is trying to infiltrate into the village and the crossing and the clash with the crowd forces west of Mosul".
