BAGHDAD - The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) expressed its desire to establish sustainable development projects in Najaf and Karbala.
"The agency provides different assistance to the people of Najaf and Karbala and wants to carry out sustainable development projects in the two provinces," head of the agency, Sardar Cham said in a press statement.
"We have invited delegations of interested parties to visit Turkey to discuss technical issues, and we have begun work to protect and re-building the common cultural, reduce unemployment and contribute to peace and achieve rapid development in the region, taking advantage from Turkish expertise," he added.
It is mentioned that the agency offered breakfast for about two thousand people in the city of Najaf in the host of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in the city, participated by the Turkish ambassador in Iraq Fatih Yildiz.
