Y?ld?r?m assures Al-Abadi by telephone that Turkish troops will withdraw from Ba’shiqah camp with the liberation of Mosul

BAGHDAD / The Turkish Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim stressed, in a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, his country keenness on Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Information Office of Al-Abadi said in a statement, that Yildirim offered his condolences and the condolences of the Turkish people for the martyrdom of visitors at the death of Imam Hussein, adding that those who carried out this act are who killed Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and are common enemies to you and us, and that the work of the Iraq and Turkey is to combat terrorism ".

Yildirim praised the big victories and successes achieved by the Iraqi forces on Daesh gangs "under the wise leadership of al-Abadi ", noting that "the people of Mosul are very happy for the entry of the Iraqi forces."

He stressed his country's strong commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq," and said, "that with regard to the camp of Bashiqa, we will withdraw our troops from it, and will end with the liberation of Mosul," adding that his country seeks to sustain trade and economic relations between the two countries.

He stressed the need for holding a meeting for the strategic committee between Turkey and Iraq in Baghdad headed by the Prime Ministers of the two countries.

For his part, al-Abadi said that " all States have to respect Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity , and it is essential to the withdrawal of Turkish troops from Ba'shiqah Camp and the announcement of that."

He said, "Iraq is keen to establish strong relations with neighboring Turkey and with all nations and it is important to remove all sorts of reasons that impede the progress of relations," noting that "Iraqi forces have achieved victories over Daesh gangs and liberated areas and now reached the last stronghold of the guerrilla, Nineveh province that was liberated most of it. "

He pointed out that "Daesh gangs tried to sow discord between the components of Iraq but the Iraqis and the sons of Mosul thwarted this terrorist sedition and are cooperating with our forces and this helps our troops to liberate it ./End
