BAGHDAD, Iraq (NINA) - "Foreign fighters with nationalities of 86 Asian and Western countries have taken part in the fighting with Daesh in Iraq," the head of the parliamentary security and defense committee said.
"The number of these fighters is 30,000, 28,000 have been killed in the liberation operations," Zamili said a news conference attended by a number of committee members and a group of Iraqi army wounded.
"The commander-in-chief of the armed forces delayed the announcement of the victory for two days until the completion of the liberation of 50 square meters of the battlefield," Zamili said.
He explained that "politicians involved in smuggling weapons and food at high prices to Daesh," noting that "corrupt in the security forces behind the return of Daesh to Imam Gharbi and Imam Sharki villages."
