Baghdad The International Basketball Federation assigned the Iraqi international referee Ahmed Ali Al-Shuwaili a new task in the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Al-Shuwaili will lead a match between Australia and China in Group C in the women’s basketball competitions for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The Iraqi referee has previously led the matches of Italy- Germany, Australia -Italy in the men’s group B matches.

Ahmed Ali Al-Shuwaili is considered one of the elite referees of Asia and his presence in the Olympic Games for the great success in the tasks assigned to him in the World Championships held in China.
