Baghdad The Security Media Cell announced the arrest of a terrorist who detonated a car bomb in Sadr City in mid-April.
The cell stated in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / received a copy of it: “In a qualitative operation that characterized by the use of the intelligence and human effort represented by continuous monitoring, and in the light of very accurate intelligence information and under the direct supervision of the Director of Military Intelligence, the detachments of the Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Cell of the Directorate, Military Intelligence, with the support of a force from the Deep Reconnaissance Brigade, one of the joints of the Directorate, arrested the terrorist who carried out the detonation of a car bomb in Al-Habibiya area near one of the popular markets known as (Al-Atiq Market) in Al-Sadr City, east of Baghdad on 4/15/2021, which resulted in the killing and wounding innocent citizens, and legal measures were taken against him.”
