Kirkuk A security source announced that the people of the village of Hassan al-Shalal, west of Daquq district, south of Kirkuk, responded to an attack carried out by ISIS elements.

The commander of the Fifth Division, Brigadier General Haider Al-Matwari, said that the heroes of the village and its youth repelled the ISIS attack, supported the security forces, prevented the terrorists from advancing and fled, which led to the injury of civilians.

The security leaders appreciated the bravery and courage of the people of the village while supporting the security forces by cutting off the hands of terrorism and preventing it from advancing towards the village, which led to the injury of two civilians within the 20th Brigade sector within the Fifth Division.
