Baghdad A member of the House of Representatives from Diyala province, Nahida Al-Dayni, confirmed that: The withdrawal of US forces is a top priority for Al-Kadhimi-Biden talks in Washington.
She told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that: Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi’s talks with US President Joe Biden deal with several files, the first of which is the withdrawal of US combat forces from the country.
Al-Dayni added that: The discussions will also focus on economic files, the most important of which are oil and energy.
On the file of the early elections in the country, Al-Dayni explained that: We do not see a real international interest in the upcoming elections, as it is an internal matter that expresses the aspirations of the people to choose their representatives.
It is reported that political blocs are counting on Al-Kadhimi’s meeting with the US President in order to set a timetable for the withdrawal of US combat forces from the country.
