Al-Sadr Directs Friday Preachers With Recommendations That Include A List Of Condemnation About The Deteriorating Electricity Reality

Najaf The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, issued a number of recommendations to the Friday preachers of the Office of Martyr al-Sadr throughout Iraq, regarding a list of activities condemning the deteriorating electricity reality in Iraq.

In his recommendations, Al-Sadr called for formulating a unified sermon for all governorates regarding the power outage, provided that it is free of infringement and inappropriate phrases, with unified banners and chants being raised in Friday prayers and in the vigils that follow.

Al-Sadr indicated that a lantern and a propeller should be placed on the pulpit and in a prominent place as a sign of condemnation, in addition to holding vigils after every prayer.

He called for sending a delegation from the Friday Imam with ten believers, including the specialists, to nearby or important power stations every Friday, with the Friday Imam’s visit to families affected by the outage, and the owners of private generators and urging them to cooperate with the citizens to overcome this crisis.
