Baghdad The Security Media Cell announced that it had thwarted an attempt to target a military barracks, west of the capital, Baghdad.

It said in a statement today, according to accurate information from the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior and the Baghdad Operations Command Intelligence Department, a force from the Sixth Brigade in the 2nd Division of the Federal Police, was able to thwart an attempt to target a military barracks west of the capital, Baghdad, and was able to seize 8 Grad missiles in Al-Jihad neighborhood, it also arrested one of the suspects, as these missiles were dealt with by the competent authorities.
