An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale hits Kerman Province, in central Iran

Baghdad Two earthquakes, with a magnitude of 3.9 and 4.9 on the Richter scale, hit the outskirts of the town of Anbarabad, south of Kerman province.

Fars News Agency said that an earthquake of magnitude 3.9 shook the area around the town of “Anbarabad”, south of Kerman province, at 4:41 pm today, Thursday, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The earthquake was recorded at 57.55 longitude and 28.31 latitude, 34 km from Anbarabad town and 30 km from Faryab town, it added.

It added, minutes later, a 4.9-magnitude earthquake at a depth of 10 km at 16:54 struck the area around Anbarabad.
