Minister of Water Resources: Al-Najaf sea is a vital tourist and economic resource

Najaf Minister of Water Resources Mahdi Al-Hamdani visited the Najaf depression, accompanied by the city’s Governor, Louay Al-Yasiri, and the Ministerial and local staff in the governorate.

Al-Hamdani pointed to the possibility of benefiting from Al-Najaf Sea depression to be a vital tourist and economic resource.

He added, “We discussed many ideas for the advancement of this vital site, in addition to discussing the importance of limiting the flow of uncontrolled water, such as wells, which are irregular, to Al-Najaf Sea depression from the fish lakes scattered there, as well as preventing the flow of sewage water.”
