Oil Drops As Coronavirus Infections Threaten Prospects For Fuel Demand

 

Baghdad Oil prices fell today, Tuesday, on concerns about slowing growth in demand for fuel, as the outbreak of the most contagious delta of the Covid-19 caused new restrictions on movement around the world.

Brent crude futures fell 26 cents, or 0.4%, to $74.42 a barrel, after falling 2% on Monday.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 19 cents, or 0.3%, to $ 72.72 a barrel, continuing the 1.5% loss incurred on Monday.
