Baghdad Minister of Finance Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi directed the Ministry of Education to pay a monthly salary of 250 thousand dinars for each free lecturer in Iraq’s schools.

According to a letter appended to the signature of the Minister of Finance the monthly wage granted to lecturers is only 250 thousand dinars and does not exceed this amount for administrators and workers, according to the regulations set by the Ministry of Education, taking into account academic achievement.

On the seventh of last April, the Council of Ministers agreed to contract with free lecturers and administrators in the Ministry of Education, according to the financial cover allocated to them in the budget for the year (2021).
