A New Rise In Oil Prices .. And Brent Touches $ 78

Baghdad Oil prices rose, after yesterday’s rise, with the cancellation of production talks for OPEC + countries.

Brent crude rose 28 cents, or 0.38%, to $77.47 a barrel by 08:10 Baghdad time, after rising 1.3 percent on Monday.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures were at $76.68 a barrel, up $1.52, or 2.04%.

Ministers of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies in a group known as OPEC+ canceled oil production talks and did not set a new date for their resumption after last week’s clash when the UAE rejected an eight-nation proposal for a month extension of production curbs, meaning no deal to increase production was agreed upon.
