With more than two dollars a barrel..oil prices are rising during today’s trading

Baghdad Oil prices jumped more than two dollars a barrel during trading today, Tuesday, compensating for the losses of the previous session, as increased demand for crude in Europe and the United States overshadowed concerns about an increase in Covid-19 infections in Asian countries.

Brent crude, the global benchmark, rose 2.8 percent to $71.01 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude jumped 3.44 percent to $68.77 a barrel.

The two benchmarks had fallen about 2.5 percent in Monday’s session, but analysts believe that the setback of the pandemic will not last long.
