A border crossing east of Diyala records an increase in the rate of economic activity

Baquba A border crossing with Iran, east of Diyala Governorate, witnessed an increase in the rate of commercial activity during the current month.

A government source in Diyala told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the Sumar-Mandali border crossing, east of Diyala, recorded the highest rate of trade exchange, and this is a positive indication of the return of economic activity to its previous era after repeated setbacks in the region due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.

He added that the Mandali port witnessed the flow of 100 trucks per day, and this constituted revenues for the state treasury, in addition to attracting more manpower to work in the outlet and in different professions.
